Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language starting point and should be reviewed by the operator before launch. It explains what chess2reels collects and why.

What we collect

Account details from your Google sign-in (name, email, avatar), the chess username you connect, the games and videos you generate, and billing records held by our payment processor.

How we use it

To run the Service: authenticate you, fetch the games you ask for, render and store your videos, apply your plan and usage limits, and process payments.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe processes them under its own privacy policy.

Storage & retention

Videos and covers are stored so you can access them in your Library. Deleting a video removes its stored files. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.

Third parties

We use Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), and the Lichess public API (game data). We do not sell your personal data.

Your choices

You can disconnect your chess username, delete your videos, or request account deletion at any time.
