Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-language starting point and should be reviewed by the operator before launch. By using chess2reels (the “Service”) you agree to the following.

Using the Service

chess2reels turns publicly available chess games into videos. You may use the Service to generate videos from games you have the right to use. You are responsible for how you share and publish the videos you create.

Accounts

You sign in with a third-party account (Google) and may connect a chess username. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity under it.

Plans, credits and billing

Free accounts include a monthly allowance of watermarked videos. Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe. Credits and generations are consumed when a video is queued; deleting a video frees storage but does not refund the generation.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or abuse the platform (for example, automated scraping or attempts to overwhelm rendering). We may suspend accounts that do.

Third parties

chess2reels is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lichess or Chess.com. Game data is accessed through their public interfaces subject to their terms.

Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
